Brilley Village Hall. Herefordshire
Last night was great – everyone was saying how much they enjoyed the evening. There was one couple, who are fairly new to the village, who were bowled over by the whole evening. They said they couldn’t believe they would hear such high quality music in a village hall. So thank you so much for entertaining everyone so well.
All the best
Quorn Village Hall, Leicestershire
Hi Toby, hope you’re not snowed in!! Good job the concert wasn’t tonight! We made £1,375 and will round it off to £1,400 for prostate cancer.
Thank you once again for all you did! It was a fantastic night everybody loved it. Hope to organise something next year, but you may see us at one of your concerts before then.
Kindest regards from Sue xx
House Concert, Blythe Bridge – Feedback
I have asked Graham for your email address I hope you don’t mind. Thank you so much for the concert on Saturday. Everyone told me how much they had enjoyed it. I hadn’t heard you play live before and thought it was wonderful, especially when I found out that you were not well at the time.
I thought you may like to know that we raised a total of £285 for the chosen charity ‘Shelter’! I am thrilled to be able to donate this to Shelter (especially at this time of year) and really appreciate that none of this would have been possible without your generosity in foregoing a fee.
So with heartfelt thanks we wish you a very Happy Christmas

Saint Thomas’ & Saint Andrew’s Church Hall, Stafford – Feedback
Toby and Graham,
What an excellent night you gave us on Saturday and raised the fantastic sum of £502 for the Childrens worker funding. One really nice comment amongst the many of how much people enjoyed the night I would like to share. A lady said to me how much she had enjoyed the night, I said I was pleased she had. She then explained that she really hadn’t wanted to go but as she had nothing better to do she went to see you. I was a little puzzled by her remark so she explained she hadn’t enjoyed the last concert of yours because she couldn’t hear the words of the songs, but this time, being that much closer she had heard ….and enjoyed the words so much she bought a CD How good is that?
Thanks again for such a super nights entertainment….Well recommended by us all.
Draycott in the Clay Village Hall – Feedback
Many thanks to you and Graham for the performance this evening – it went down very well. Our net return from ticket sales, bar and raffle was around £270. A very useful sum that goes a good way towards the cost of our replacement fire alarm system which failed a couple of months ago. I’ll be in touch later regarding booking you for a show next autumn.
Tean Christchurch Church Hall – Feedback
I would like to thank you all for the great evening you gave us last night. I think everyone enjoyed it , lots of favourable comments today at church. We were able to make £428.50p – a terrific sum which we will put towards the Breeze and Wilson boiler!
I’m sure I will be contacting you in the future with view to another concert.
Many thanks once again and good luck in your coming projects.

To Graham and Toby,
Sincere thanks for giving Denstone Village Hall Committee and friends a wonderful evening. We thank you for giving us our first free evening, it certainly helped our funds, and look forward to booking you again in the not too distant future (when we are happy to pay 50/50 split). Many thanks,

Over Haddon Village Hall – Feedback
Thank you both again for supporting Over Haddon village hall. As you know, we are fundraising for a play area, and last night’s gig meant that your support alone has raised a total of £800 for us to date! Lovely music, really like the new tunes. Everyone who came to the gig was buzzing about it; the majority know you from previous events but you gained a few new fans last night.

Bakewell Church – Feedback
Hi Toby and Graham,
Thank you again from us all at All Saints Bakewell. I’ve had people phoning up to say how much they enjoyed the evening and when I got home I discovered a further wadge of notes in my back pocket which means that the final, amazing total going to the Roof Fund is £875.
I hope at some point in the future you will be able to bring your music to us again then we can joyfully share the takings with you. In the busyness of the evening I didn’t get round to buying another CD but will look forward to go along to another of your gigs when I can be in more relaxed mode and put that right!
Again, very many thanks,

What a great night with Breeze and Wilson – now known as Toby and Graham – full village hall, lots of smiling faces and loads of compliments. A really great night – put it into figures think we made over £350!
Big thanks to the lads for quality music and entertainment, the committee for helping out and my long suffering wife who has to put up with watching my plans come to fruition!

Over Haddon Village Hall – Feedback
Morning Toby and Graham,
Once again, thanks for a fab evening! The new songs are great, can’t wait to get the cd. We’ve had a ‘count up’ and you’ve helped us to put another £250 (including the raffle and ‘heads and tails’) into the pot for the kid’s playground at the village hall. Thanks from everyone!
(Note from us – this was the second concert for the hall and was done on a 50/50 split fee …. and they still made £250 for the hall!)
Knutsford – Fundraiser
Last night’s concert at Toft for Marie Curie raised a staggering £1348.88. Everyone had a brilliant time. Haven’t seen Bernard grin so much ever.
Wormhill Show Feedback
Thanks guys once again for a fabulous fundraising evening in Wormhill. We raised over£1200.00 on the night for Help for Heroes and Children of Chernobyl. Special thanks for playing some of the old tunes, looking forward to the new CD. The banjo playing was awesome and a great favourite with the audience. Hope you’ll be playing again in this neck of the woods soon.
Warslow Show Feedback
I have just spoken to Laura the hall secretary and she informs me that the total profit from Saturday night was £285, a very handsome figure we thought, especially as we think its about 2 years since there was dedicated live music at the hall! If it was not for your very kind idea/strategy to play the first show for free it would be a near loss so we thank you again for that.
The feedback from those that attended was excellent, many commenting on the relaxed atmosphere created by you and Graham. Just the right level of interaction/laughs/gags and stories backed up with of course top level vocals and mesmerising banjo and guitar playing (I have now realised I am also a closet banjo lover). It was also great to see some of your very own followers travelling so far to hear you play…….perhaps the exclusive play of “I Will Be There For You” was the catalyst, or perhaps word had about our cheap bar prices, either way many thanks for a cracking night.
I will let the rest of the Halls gang know about re-booking for next year at the meeting on the 30th and get back to you, I see no reason why not as everybody (even none music folk) said how good it had been.
We will be in touch soon and all the best for the Canadian tour in June.
Macmillan Cancer Fundraiser
Hi Toby and Graham,
Thank you very much for a very enjoyable evening in Rugeley last night. Everyone enjoyed the evening and hope we can book you again! We were very pleased to have raised £205 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Just to let you know we made £450 on Saturday everyone had a great time. Do you have a Saturday in March 2014 free?
Over Haddon Village Hall – More feedback
Hi Toby and Graham,
Just been in the counting house with Dick (my husband/ secretary of the village hall). We have a final total for last night’s gig at Over Haddon Village Hall:
Raffle……………..£61 ( all prizes donated )
LESS cost of food approx £100
FINAL TOTAL RAISED: £422
As we mentioned last night, this will help enormously towards our current project to establish a play area/ community space on the village hall site. Once again, thanks for a brill night.
Loads of positive feedback, folks asking when you will be returning to Over Haddon!!
Thanks for your generosity and support.

St Paul’s Church, Stafford – feedback
Hello Toby and Graham
“As I write this thank-you at some ungodly hour – 3.50 am – I have the Tennessee Waltz playing quietly in the background on this iPad! A great reminder of a great evening last Saturday at St Paul’s School in Stafford. We all enjoyed it so much and here, days later, are still talking about it. We are so grateful to you for helping us to raise £310 towards a new and much needed notice board for outside our church. When you drive by you will be able to see it, hopefully around Easter time. So again a big thank you to you both for a wonderful evening – and thank you for playing the Tennessee  Waltz for me too!”
Best wishes to you both.
Susan Warren, chairman of the Social Committee.
P.S. When the board is up we must remember to send you a picture!
St Paul’s Church, Stafford
Just to let you know that the church this morning was abuzz about what a great time they all had, had. Strangely, a lot of people were surprised at your “professionalism”.
The final figure was an amazing £310.
SO…………………once again – THANKS to you both for ANOTHER great night.

Church Eaton Village Institute
Toby & Graham
Your marvellous concert on 5th Jan 2013 raised £630 for Church Eaton Village Institute and we are immensely grateful to you. The money will be spent on the constant renovation that buildings 120 years old require – the Institute was built in 1892 and given to the village by a Mary Wiley to use as ‘a reading and recreation room’. We are one of the few halls around here not to have received a lottery grant.
The musical recreation you provided was first class – melodic and entertaining and we enjoyed having such accomplished musicians here.
Once again, thank you very much for your music and your generosity.
Fundraising Concert – Bramshall
Hello Toby & Graham,
Well where do I start…………the emails I received after the concert were fab – everyone enjoyed the evening so much, so thank you thank you for coming to Bramshall.
I put the money in the church safe as my grandson was christened on the Sunday and I had oodles of family to accommodate! but finally got round to counting with someone else on the committee to verify. Could not believe we raised over £500 so again thank you very much – that is a brill amount for us.
You will be invited to Bramshall very soon – just need a meeting so that we can organise a charitable function and liaise with your good selves because it was such a brill night.
Catch up soon
Alstonefield Concert Review
Breeze and Wilson – 12th November 2011. It was a real delight to enjoy the Breeze and Wilson experience last Saturday night at the village hall. They were playing to a packed house and entertained with their own unique style that suggested country/rock with just a hint of bluegrass and a smidge of contemporary folk. It is very difficult to pigeonhole Breeze and Wilson as their music perhaps can be best summed up by describing them as “Smooth”. Most of their renditions were penned by themselves with just a couple of cover versions of other artist’s songs. It is obvious that they really enjoy performing together and the banter between them throughout the two hours was obviously genuine whilst at the same time providing plenty of chuckles for the audience. An added bonus for the village hall was that they were performing free of charge and even refused travel expenses; how generous is that ?? So if you do get a chance to see and hear these local lads grab the opportunity, you won’t be disappointed. Thanks to everyone who helped make the night such a success. £950 was raised for the Village Hall Refurbishment Appeal. The lads will return on 6th October 2012. Go to www.breezeandwilson.com to hear and see them for yourself
Fundraising Concert – Buxton
Just wanted to say a huge thank you to you and Graham for last Saturday. Been a bit slow getting back to you about the ammount we raised we’ve been waiting for the cavern people to come back to us about what we have to pay them. As it happens they just want £20 or so for the electricity we used which is great as it means we made over £400 for the cause. We’ve had unanimus praise for your music with lots of ”when are you doing it again?” So thanks again – you were brilliant!
Love and best wishes,
Fundraising Concert – Burslem
just a line or two to say a big thank you for yesterday. What an effect you had on our members, they all said you were fantastic (but I already knew that) We raised £756-50p from the day for the Donna Louise Trust.
Once again thank you both so much, we were honoured to have you play for us.
My very best wishes

Fundraising Concert – Willington
Toby and Graham,
Many thanks for such a pleasant and relaxing evening last night. I heard lots of complimentary remarks as people left, including “I thought I might enjoy it not nowhere near as much as I did!” Another guest was really taken with the fact that you played a lovely selection of your own songs as well as the occasional “standard”.
As a result of yours and Neil`s generosity, we raised just over £450, a great result for our inaugural effort for the building fund. You mentioned, Graham, that you sometimes find on return visits that a village hall now has some new feature thanks to you. I`m sure that we`ll be looking for a return booking here sometime next year, so you may find a plaque on a new toilet door saying “Breeze and Wilson Played Here”!

Excerpt from the school’s newsletter.
Breeze and Wilson concert on Saturday evening was a great success with 45 tickets sold and after taking out all the costs, raising a very worthy £142!!
Many thanks to the help and support from Jason Smith and David Delaunay for the fantastic hot buffet, Claire Knight for the raffle prizes, Stuart Turner for organising the band, setting up and taking control of the microphone, Nick Paine for doing the bar and everyone who came along, brought their friends and had a great night! Finally a huge thank you to Breeze and Wilson (who were brilliant) for helping to raise much needed funds to add to the PTA aim of refurbishing the adventure playground!!
For everyone who missed out, there will be pictures on the website and you can hear them at www.breezeandwilson.com. With any luck, they will come again – an evening not to be missed!
Wormhill Village Hall
Thanks so much for coming to Wormhill last night. We really enjoyed it, the music was great and the atmosphere brilliant.
We made £321.60 for the village hall funds, I’m so sorry that there were a few empty seats but those of us that made the effort to support the local hall were rewarded by the fabulous act that is Breeze and Wilson. I really look forward to seeing you live again and will be booking tickets at the next local event.
House Concert – Madeley
Hello!!! We’ve had so many messages of thanks and appreciation for Saturday night and people saying how great the music was. A really big thank you to you both.
And…… it looks like we’ve made £1,700 for the Foundation. So brilliant stuff.
See you soon
Vintage Bistro – Hampton, New Brunswick
We asked the organiser of this concert if she remembered our concert well enough to do a review of the evening. This was her reply (which we were extremely happy to receive!).
Of course we remember you enough to write a review of your show at Vintage. You made so many people happy that night. Many people thought it was the best show they had attended yet at Vintage…and that’s not easy considering the calibre of entertainers we draw. So, putting it plainly, your excellent performance and stage presence made the whole night a very personal one for attendees…you are obviously dedicated professionals who tailor your entire show to the community in which you are performing, and personalizing it along the way so that people feel you have designed the show just for them.
We would welcome you back to Vintage in a heartbeat.
Just let me know when. Thank you,
Alstonefield Village Hall
Hello Toby and Graham,
First of all thank you both so much for the concert on Saturday. I have had great feedback from the punters …….,’beautiful music, just perfect, a great night out,’ etc. ‘when will they come back?’ I have had good comments from younger and older folk alike. The final total we raised from the concert was £950 but all the food was donated which amounted to an extra £200 added in: the raffle also helped too. We are really pleased that our first Appeal event raised so much money. So thank you so much for coming to play for us and not charging at all. We would like you to come back with another concert in November and wonder if we could fix a date now. We realise that next time you would like a 50/50 split of the profits. We do think it best to attract a good audience with food too, particularly as some of our older villagers who live alone don’t often get a hot nutritious meal for themselves. I hope we did not spend too much time over the meal from your point of view though. We aimed to take half an hour, but to serve 83 people took us a bit longer.
Many many thanks again
Ashley & Loggerheads Village Hall – Save The Children
Hi Toby and Graham,
A HUGE thank you to you both for such a polished and professional performance last night. Every body had a great time and we raised just under £1100. Fantastic, or what ?
We are VERY interested in a return visit in September, so please let me have some dates when you get them.
Good luck with your pending tour of Canada.
Stone Lions – March 2013
I’m sorry I have not replied earlier but I have been sorting out the payments before I could give you a figure for the amount raised.
After paying for the pies and the hall hire we have added £611 to our charity fund. We were very pleased with this. About 90 people attended but at least 20 were not because of the weather and these had been catered for. The sum raised could have been quite a bit higher. Now for the important bit. I would like to say thank you to you both for the terrific concert that you gave us on Saturday. Everyone was highly impressed by your performance and are looking forward to you returning in the future. Several of the Lions emailed me to say thank you and how much they enjoyed it. I think they were suprised that I could come up with something so good!
Thanks also for the CDs that you donated to the raffle. Unfortunately I was unlucky there also so I had to revert to actually purchasing one. I have been enjoying Oh Nova Scotia and the bonus is a cover with a spitting image of our old mongrel.
Singing ‘Oh Zoey’ with the name of our previous dog Sally certainly brought a tear to my wife’s eyes.
Finally, thank you for offering to return, I am glad that you found it successful. I will telephone you in the next few days to discuss possible dates next year.
All the best,
Malawi Children’s Centre
Dear Graham and Toby,
better known as Breeze and Wilson…..? ?We cannot thank you enough for the brilliant concert you did for us on May 7th. The music was great and everyone enjoyed it, as you could probably tell by the encores! This was definitely complemented by your repartee between songs – what a double act!
Thanks to your generosity we were able to make a profit of £765.11!!!! Our thanks must be passed on to Nina, too who has worked so hard for us. We would be more than delighted to do it again as you suggested. Hope your time with your Canadian Fans and fellow musicians has gone well for you.
Best of wishes,
Gill and rest of the fund-raisers for Malawi Children’s Centre
Wotton Under Edge Village Hall
We were in your audience last Saturday night at Under The Edge Arts in Wotton-under-Edge. We wanted to thank you for making the effort to come ‘south’ and for a wonderful evening. Equally thanks are due to you both for supporting Under the Edge Arts, we are sure the funds raised will be invaluable to the work. All the best for the future.

Wotton Under Edge Village Hall
Thank you, and Graham, for a really great evening on Saturday. I know we are a bit further away than your usuual stomping ground and we really appreciate it. Judging by the comments at the end, and on our questionnaires, a lot of other people enjoyed it as well.
I still can’t get my head around the fanastic work you do, but if you are prepared to travel this far south again in the future I am sure that we would be interested.
I will sing your praises to the other Directors at our next meeting (not literally otherwise it will turn them off).
I wish you success with the new album.

Red Lion Folk Club (Concert for Brian Meades)
Thank you so much for taking part in last Saturday’s concert.Everyone had a brilliant time and we have received a lot of compliments but without our musican friends we couldn’t have done it. Amazingly we managed to keep more or less to the programme which is a feat in its own.
Toby, you said to me that there was a song that you wanted to do but decided against it – I would love to hear it. Is it on one of your Cd’s or is it a new song? Hope to see you again soon
Calton Village Hall
Dear Toby and Graham,
Thanks again for your recent concert in Colton Village Hall, which raised £560 for our funds. We are most grateful for this and a successful musical evening: so much so that we should like to book you again for November 2011, if we may? Our preferred date is Saturday 12 November. Would you be available then, please? General comments from the audience tell us that they had overall a very enjoyable evening. You will have judged that from the ovation at the end and the calls for an encore! Your playing of the instruments was considered to be of a very high standard, as was your musicianship.
Youlgreave Village Hall
November 20th. Breeze & Wilson. A humorous gentle duo of skilled guitar, ‘laptop guitar’, and banjo playing delighted us after a superb supper of cheeses, meats AND a pud! Followers came from afar to hear a Clapton/ Taylor /Richard Hawley blend of rare talent.
Their self-confessed dirges mixed with the amusing ‘Jackie D’ and a clarity often overlooked. No wonder the Nova Scotia CD sold out. A marvellous effort again from the Bangbutt team; great value, and an event hopefully to be repeated and not to be missed.
Drayton Bassett Village Hall
Hope you are well. We/you raised £340 in total.
Grindon Village Hall
Hi Toby and Graham,
Everyone really enjoyed the concert, even the teenagers who we can’t normally get into the village hall!
We made £210 from ticket sales, and a total of £230 for the toilet fund adding in the raffle and deducting expenses. Many thanks, and hopefully we will see you both again at Grindon. Good luck with your future tours.
The Imperial Theatre, Saint John, New Brunswick – Canada
I just wanted to drop you a line to say how sorry I am that missed
your show! Alas, I was off to Antigonish with Peter conferencing and
such. I heard that you “brought down the house” as the old saying goes.
I hope you had as much fun as the audience and crew did. The sponsor
for the show is still star struck and utterly pleased with the show!
So thank you!
Hopefully our paths with cross soon!
Wotton Under Edge Village Hall
Hi Graham and Toby. I have just heard that you are coming to Wotton under Edge in Jan 2011. I saw your ebay advert for a Regal RD45 a while back and followed the link to the music. Very, very impressed so bought your CD from Amazon. Told our local Arts Centre organiser how brilliant you are and persuaded her to book you. Extra special interest as wife and I are born and bred Stafford. Roll on January.
Community Council of Staffordshire
Hi Toby and Graham,
Thanks for making the time to come along to the event on Friday.
Everyone enjoyed your performance and many delegates left with your CD in their hand. I hope it will generate more gigs for you and, of course, at the same time help to raise funds for the village halls.
Would it be possible for you to send me copies of the handouts you gave out at the event?
Thanks once again.
Alrewas Village Hall
Apologies for a small audience but they all really enjoyed the evening! Hope you all had a safe journey home and our smal but heart felt contribution will help you all.
Would still like to book you again before you go “Live and Local” so please let us know dates and we will fill the hall!!!
Thanks and regards to all
Salt Village Hall
Hi Toby Graham Stan and Rick,
Thank you so much for providing us with a great night on Monday. The usual Breeze & Wilson musical style shone through but the programme was enhanced on this occasion by the very talented contributions of Stan and Rick. Together you provided us with a superb blend of Country-Blues music that sent our audience home wanting more, what more could we have asked?
Good luck for the remainder of your tour, your audiences are in for a treat.
Best wishes, Bill Mitchell

Little Aston Village Hall
Hi Toby (and Graham!)
Thank you so much for your fantastic performance on Saturday – hope you had a good journey home.
We all had a brilliant evening, and you now have a new fan base in Little Aston – I’m sorry we couldn’t muster up more people to come and see you! I’ve had many requests already that you to come to us again, so I’ll put it to the committee and let you know.
We raised £204 for the kitchen fund which will go towards the £65k that we need! We’ve already got £18k and are waiting to hear back from lots of grant sources that we have applied to, and hope that we can start the work in August, so hopefully when you return, you will be able to see the new kitchen and entrance!
Many many thanks again for a great evening.
Many, many thanks to you and Graham for a really excellent night of music, songs and chat about dogs and cheese! A number of people have approached me expressing their enjoyment of the evening and asked about the forthcoming tour with your Canadian friends. I have directed them to your web site for details. Latest estimates suggest we made about £440 after expenses on the night. This will probably go towards a new boiler and heating system in Checkley Church.
Brian Morley and I (and a few others) plan to attend one of the tour gigs (if planes start flying!). Someone also came up to me in Church on Sunday morning and had listened to the whole CD and wanted to know when the lady who sings with you will be joining a performance.
Once again, many, many thanks.
